A lightweight and compact wide-angle lens with the latest optical design. The overall length from the mount is kept to just 14mm, and the body weighs only 99g, giving it the mobility of a snap shooter, a feature of rangefinder cameras. The simple lens construction of six elements in four groups, including one double-sided aspherical lens and three anomalous partial dispersion glass elements, provides clear, sharp images.

Compact Style
The overall length from the mount surface is kept to 14mm, and the filter diameter is φ34mm. Its compact appearance makes it easy to carry and take in and out of a bag, and it weighs only 99g.

Two types of exterior to choose from

The exterior is made of brass and comes in two types: silver and black paint. For the black paint, the mount is finished in black*1, and the focus lock button, focus lever, and infinity and close focus stoppers are nickel-plated to add an accent to the design.

Focusing lever with excellent operability
The focusing lever, designed to be easily gripped by the fingers, supports quick and reliable focusing operation.

Dedicated hood included
The included metal cover hood is designed to be integrated with the lens aperture ring. To prevent the overall length from increasing when used in conjunction with the hood, a specially made thin frame filter with a thickness of just 1.1 mm from the lens filter thread is also included.

Manual focus for precise focus control
The all-metal helicoid unit is machined and adjusted with high precision, and the use of high-quality grease that produces just the right amount of torque makes focusing feel smooth and allows for subtle focus adjustments.

Bayonet VM mount
The lens mount uses the VM mount, which is compatible with the Leica M mount. It can be used with rangefinder cameras, and also has a well-balanced design when attached to a mirrorless digital camera via a mount adapter.

Equipped with rangefinder interlocking system
The high-precision rangefinder linkage mechanism enables precise focusing even at maximum aperture.

Full size image circle
It has a generous image circle that is compatible with full-frame 35mm format, and is extremely compact in size compared to interchangeable lenses for SLR cameras.
